The focus of the role is preparing complex suitability reports and delivering technical support on pensions, investments and DB transfers to the client services team and our clients. Qualified to Level 4 Diploma level you’ll need significant experience in preparing investment and pension recommendations for high net-worth clients.
In researching products, providers and funds you’ll also need a working knowledge of taxation, trusts, and estate planning. While we have a proven investment process to follow, the tone and the content of the suitability reports, and selection of funds, will need to be tailored to the needs of each client.
This is not a ‘desk in the corner’ role, as you’ll need to be friendly and supportive towards the rest of the team and be able to chat with our clients. You must have a Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma or equivalent.
You must be prepared to study for advanced qualifications to meet specific requirements of our business, such as pension transfers.
Good standard of general education – highly numerate and with an excellent standard of written English.
At least 10 years relevant experience in an IFA office.
