Investment Paraplanner

We have a vacancy for a Paraplanner with a strong technical background to prepare complex suitability reports and deliver associated technical support to the client services team and our clients.

You’ll need to be qualified, preferably to Diploma level, and have significant experience in preparing investment and pension recommendations for high net-worth clients.

As well as researching products, providers and funds you’ll also need a working knowledge of taxation, trusts, and estate planning to ensure our recommendations take into account clients’ full situation.

While we have a proven investment process to follow, the tone and the content of the suitability reports, and selection of funds, will need to be tailored to the needs of each client.

This is not a ‘desk in the corner’ role as you’ll need to be friendly and supportive towards the rest of the team and be able to chat with our clients. Our team values flexibility, so the ability to roll your sleeves up and do anything when we’re ultra busy will be appreciated.

Operations Manager

Do you thrive on getting the best from a team? Are you at your best when using your organisation skills to keep all the plates spinning?

We are looking for somebody who can gain the respect of our team and keep things driving forward to deliver exceptional service worthy of the British Standard BS 8577 we have held for the last 5 years.

Day to day, it’s your responsibility to ensure clients are being served, the internal service between the administration team and advisers is working well and that all FCA compliance requirements are covered.

We are a growing company and you’ll take a lead on forecasting future team requirements, reviewing and developing every member of the client services team and handling any resource issues on behalf of the Directors. You’ll need a ‘sleeves rolled up’ attitude to help the team out too, at busy times.

To manage this position you’ll need many years experience in an IFA office with experience of administration and paraplanning yourself, backed by financial planning qualifications.

As a member of the management team you’ll be expected to report into the Directors’ Board meetings on all operational issues and play a full role in building the capacity and capability of the client services team.
